C SQUADRON, 3rd BATTALION ROYAL 22ième RÉGIMENT BATTLE GROUP, KANDAHAR PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN

From 28 August 2007 to 10 March 2008, the soldiers of C Squadron conducted operations as the arm of decision in the districts of Zhari, Panjwayi, and Arghandab against the Taliban.  The composition depicts the transition from Leopard 1 C2 to the Leopard 2 A6M and movement with power and purpose in combat team column. Deserving of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps’ motto, WORTHY, both by deed and word, C Squadron was made up of soldiers from Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians), the 12ieme Régiment Blindé du Canada, and the Royal Canadian Dragoons as well as the King’s Own Calgary Regiment, the British Columbia Regiment, and the British Columbia Dragoons.

 

ESCADRON C, GROUPEMENT TACTIQUE, 3ième BATTAILLON ROYAL 22ième RÉGIMENT, PROVINCE DE KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN

 

 

Du 28 août 2007 au 10 mars 2008, les soldats de l’escadron C ont conduit des opérations décisives contre les Talibans dans

les districts de Zhari, Panjwayi et d’Arghandab. Le tableau dépeint la transition du char Léopard 1 C2 vers le char Léopard 2 A6M ainsi que la mobilité et la puissance d’une équipe de combat. Fidèle à l’esprit de la devise du Corps Blindé Royal Canadien, « WORTHY », l’escadron C était

composé de soldats provenant du Lord Strathconas’s Horse (Royal Canadian), du 12e Régiment Blindé du Canada et du Royal Canadian Dragoons en plus des Régiments du King’s Own Calgary Regiment, du British Columbia Regiment et du British Columbia Dragoons.
