This print is dedicated to our Canadian Soldiers who have lost their lives from the War of 1812 to the War in Afghanistan.

1 Canada in 2 Centuries Remembers 3 Wars

(1812-WWI-Afghan Mission)

Under one banner and beat of drum

This army did see and hear as one

Once borders crossed into deep enemy terrain

These men did bond and over their barrel did aim

United by courage, their leader and their Colours flown high

Gone into combat, beside comrade, knowing the risk they may die

Time’s heavy step marching from battles undergone

A broken spirit in soaked bandage, yet still soldiered on

Bayonet to firearm in a two hundred year span

They fought in 1812, The Great War and in Task Force Afghanistan

One Drum, one banner, one mission for peace to restore

1 Canada in 2 centuries remembers these 3 wars
