Le Milicien Canadien

 

Né en Nouvelle-France, il était employé comme éclaireur et soldat au sein des troupes Françaises.Le Roi de France avait décrété que tout citoyen agé entre 16 et 60 ans devait prendre les armes aubesoin pour servir la Mére patrie. Ils était un spécialiste pour guider les troupes régulières, monterdes attaques rapides et des embuscades. Cette partie de notre patrimoine militaire est appelée “La petite guerre”.

 

 

 Born in New-France, “Le Milicien Canadien” was incorporated as a guide and soldier among French troops.The King of France ordered that each male citizen in New France, between the ages of 16 and 60 , must serve their ”Mother Country”.The Milicien Canadien were specialists that lead French troops in the forest for quick attacks and amushes called “La petite guerre” (little war).
