i. A battery of M777 Light-Weight Towed Howitzers are the cornerstone of Canadian indirect fire support in Afghanistan. These guns are distributed throughout the area of operations in pairs or sometimes individually. This drawing represents how on call at a moment's notice, a single Artillery gun can change the course of a battle.
