The life-saving skills and bravery of the Medical Technician working outside the wire has paved the way to "lives saved".Medical Technicians are the pointy end of the Health Services team of clinical and administrative professionals and provide excellent care to the wounded warrior.They ensure the wounded get back to the Role 3 to receive life and limb saving surgery.

 

Their trauma skills executed well forward, have saved countless lives of Canadian, Coalition and Afghan soldiers and civilians.Canadian Medical Technician's have distinguished themselves in battle alongside their combat arms brothers.

 

This artwork represents the spirit of all those who have provided Outstanding Health Services during the Afghanistan conflict.
